Sabian B8 Pro & Holy China review
Friday, March 16, 2012 at 09:28AM
Different strokes for different folks!
In issue 7 we review and demonstrate a selection of cymbals from two ranges at opposite ends of the price scale.
The Sabian B8 Pro Series cymbals are aimed at the younger, intermediate or 'developing' player, whereas the Holy Chinas will put a bit more of a dent in your wallet, as well as your ears.
The Sabian B8 Pro was first launched in 1991, Sabian considered the 20 year anniversary a good time to re-introduce it to the market.
The Chad Smith Holy China cymbals have been a huge hit since they came on to the market, at this years NAMM show in Anaheim, California a new 17" model was announced.

BC Gigster Review
Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at 07:15AM
Back in issue 2 of iDrum, we were lucky enough to have Tim Porter and Dil Davies come into the studio to demonstrate their silent tactile monitoring system, the BC2.
Check out the full feature from issue 2 here.
Since then, the product has been snapped up by a list of professional drummers that seems to be growing by the second, not only for the BC2 but for the newer, slicker model, the BC Gigster.

Check out the new compact model of the BC2, the BC Gigster on Page 64 of Issue 7 of iDrum here.
